TEHRAN - Finance and Economic Affairs Ministry’s Policy-making Department has signed a memorandum of understanding with the Tehran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (TCCIMA) to collaborate on improving the country’s business environment.

Signed by TCCIMA Head Masoud Khansari and Deputy Economy Minister Mohammad-Hadi Sobhanian, the MOU is aimed at promoting constructive cooperation between the government and the private sector for improving the country’s business environment, the TCCIMA portal reported on Wednesday.

Identifying, correcting, and removing disruptive and unnecessary regulations in the process of starting and developing businesses, identifying, correcting, or eliminating defective and incomplete procedures within the scope of duties of the Economy Ministry and subordinate bodies, helping to improve the performance of the national portal for business licenses and also solving problems raised by the TCCIMA are among the goals set in the signed MOU.
